I honestly didn’t want to say anything about this Rahama Saidu’s issue. What she did was completely wrong, she shouldn’t have called out the Governor’s name in that manner. However, the treatment she received afterwards, especially the burning of her shop, is absolutely ridiculous and condemnable. Nothing can justify such an act. I sincerely hope the Kano Government will intervene, ensure justice is served, and the perpetrators are held accountable.

After this protest, Kano will take a long time to heal completely. This is not a protest, but vandalism and destruction.

For those doubting President Bola Tinubu’s 10.9 million numbers, this is just one out of over 8,000 wards across the country. The numbers are real, the support is organic and the momentum is evident nationwide.

SubhanAllah! In all my life, I have never seen Masjid al-Haram as filled with worshippers as it is today. May Allah accept our worship and grant us goodness in this world and the Hereafter. 🕋 🤲🏽

What a convenient and smart way to install solar panels while still maintaining the beauty and aesthetics of the building. With such approach, clean energy and beautiful architecture can truly go hand in hand.

That doesn’t look like a peaceful protest. So much vandalizations ongoing in Kano. The authorities should step in before it goes out of control.

To feed the over 230 million people in this country, we must change the way we farm. The traditional farming methods can no longer meet the demands of our population. We must invest in mechanization and smart agriculture to increase our productivity. As a significant portion of our harvested food is lost due to inadequate food storage facilities, we must also invest in modern storage facilities to reduce waste and preserve our harvests effectively.

See Mufti Menk, a globally recognized and renowned Islamic scholar, was seen riding a bicycle in the City of Madinah. It will be hard to find a place in the world where such a prominent and influential figure can move freely through the streets without any concern for his safety.

During the City Boy Movement’s North East engagement, we travelled by road from Damaturu to Maiduguri and the journey brought back memories of how far the region has come in terms of security. During the PDP years, the Damaturu–Maiduguri road was regarded as the most dangerous route in the country. There were periods when Boko Haram had such a strong presence there that they could effectively take total control of the road, making travel extremely risky and leaving passengers living in constant fear. That chapter largely became history after the APC-led government came into power in 2015 under President Buhari. Through sustained military operations, Boko Haram’s capacity to operate freely across the major highways was degraded and the group was largely confined to areas within the Sambisa Forest. So, as we travelled from Damaturu to Maiduguri, I could not help but reflect on that history. The road beneath us is more than just a highway connecting two major cities. For many residents of Yobe and Borno, it represents how much the security situation has changed since the darkest days of the Boko Haram insurgency. This is not to suggest that insecurity has been completely eliminated from the North East, far from it. Boko Haram and ISWAP remain threats and the government must continue to strengthen intelligence, equip our security forces, protect vulnerable communities and ensure that every Nigerian can travel without fear. But while demanding more from government, we must also be honest enough to acknowledge genuine progress where it has occurred.
