للعلماء قولان في مسألة العذر بالجهل في الشرك الأكبر: القول الأول: أنه يُعذر بالجهل، لكنه يُعامل في الدنيا معاملة المشركين؛ فلا يُغسَّل، ولا يُصلَّى عليه، ولا يُدفن في مقابر المسلمين. وأما في الآخرة فأمره إلى الله تعالى، وحكمه حكم أهل الفترات. ١/
