And before you mock Jauhar, understand what it represented in its historical setting. Women facing defeat, capture, enslavement and sexual violence at the hands of invading armies chose death over what they believed awaited them. Call me every filthy name you want. I would rather stand with a woman who chose death on her own terms than romanticise the world she feared being captured into. I’d die a Hindu widow a million times before being raped by a Muslim man!

Dangerous, rabid dogs must be “removed” immediately. Human life comes first. Every. Single. Time.
