Some Yorubas don’t seem to care if Nigeria is crushed to death, as long as Tinubu remains in power. As Igbo, we scrutinize every candidate before offering support. Tinubu and Buhari couldn’t save Nigeria in their combined 12 years in power, yet some Yorubas accuse us of hating Tinubu. If he were performing, we Igbos would gladly support him. But as things stand, another term under Tinubu will completely ruin Nigeria.

After years of suffering, hardship, hunger, and poverty, politicians return during elections with rice, cash, and other handouts, hoping people will forget their pain. Nigeria deserves better. We must vote wisely, reject vote-buying, and support leaders we believe can deliver real change. For me, that leader is Peter Obi in 2027.
