Something is definitely not right somewhere. I have spent the last few days documenting this. Nigerian TikTok is filled with japa ads. Swipe 3 times and there’s a sponsored japa ad. These ads are generally disguised as “chat with Oyibo and earn $$” or “complete simple task and earn $$” but when you click the “Apply Now” link, it takes you to a landing page promising immigration to some of these funny countries. These ads are targeted at really vulnerable Nigerians & definitely coordinated by outsiders. I think all the ads are coming from a central source. They use Ai in some of these videos with people that look like Nigerians and even have them in different Nigerian languages. I attach some of the videos I have been able to screen record in the past few days. Anyone can see for themselves.
