The governor of Ebonyi State challenged Nyesom Wike; immediately the APC chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, changed face. The governor said that he has all it takes to consume Wike and that Wike should be called to order. Tinubu didn't call Wike to order in Rivers; I pray he doesn't call him to order in other too. Rivers Politics: Both Rotimi Amaechi and Nyesom Wike are progeny of the grandfather of Rivers politics, Dr. Peter Odili. On June 3rd, 2025, Rotimi Amaechi, in an interview on Arise TV, stated that without Dr. Odili and his wife, he would never have amounted to being governor. As a duty he owes to God, he also feels obliged to remain forever grateful to the former Rivers First Family, the Odilis. For the first time in over 16 years, following Rotimi Amaechi’s fallout with his then predecessor, Dr. Peter Odili, and his wife, Justice Mary Odili, he had never publicly spoken about them, nor had he ever publicly thrown insults at them. While Nyesom Wike stood on the lintel of the Anglican Church of Nigeria in Rivers State, publicly abusing Dr. Peter Odili and his family because Dr. Odili said, "Let Governor Sim Fubara govern the state in peace." Just look at the level of arrogance of the man who was the governor from 2015 to 2023; he showed Rivers youths pepper. Stopped their scholarship from studying abroad without remorse. But all his children studied abroad and now he prepares them to hold elective position in the state. After supporting Wike, you still go to church to dance and pray. God is indeed a merciful father.
