Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. Ilana and I are so fortunate to be spending the holiday in South Africa (where Ilana is originally from) surrounded by family and friends. And it doesn't get any better than this. Wishing a peaceful and relaxing holiday for all.

A statue at Wimbledon would be fitting but there needs to be a meaningful, permanent legacy in Scotland for Andy Murray.

We are exactly 3 weeks away from perhaps the most consequential election in U.S. history. It cannot be stated strongly enough: your vote in this election matters. I'm casting my vote for Kamala Harris for President and Tim Walz for Vice President. I hope you'll join me.

Congratulations to the 2025 inductees into the Tennis Hall of Fame: Maria Sharapova, Mike Bryan, and Bob Bryan. This is the highest honor in tennis, and this year's class is top-notch.

Hitting on a practice court Roland-Garros. Terrific to hit on clay again. It's been awhile! #RolandGarros2023

Thrilled to hear that l've been named to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024, in the Sports Entertainment category. Such an honor that I am the first woman athlete to receive this distinction. Thank you.

What an incredibly special day. I was privileged to step onto Centre Court Wimbledon and hit a few balls with Debbie Jevans, a former touring professional and the incoming first woman chairperson of Wimbledon. What a treat to be back on this court after 40 years.

People ask me all the time about the future of the game we all love, and what, if anything, I would change about it if I could. So, here are my thoughts. Some of these may surprise you.

I am so fortunate to still play tennis at my age. But there sure is a lot of (completely worth it) prep work involved! Here's some background on my pre-tennis routine from this video: 1. Put on two braces: one on each knee 2. Switch to my tennis glasses, and l always carry a backup pair with me, just in case. One pair is a throwback to my favorite pair from the 1970s 3. Wear gloves, both to protect my hands from sun, and also to help with carpal tunnel 4. Use exercise bands to warm up shoulders, triceps, and biceps for forehands/ backhands. 60 reps for each 5. Perform 20 squats + stretching. And an important tip: Watch the ball all the way to the contact point. At the pro level, 50% of balls are missed because of not watching the ball all the way to the contact point. At the rec level, it's 90%. Get out there and play!
