Yo, Blink Wallet What's the record for largest number of outgoing transactions from a single wallet within less than an hour? We just did 771 in less 40 minutes. With the recent increase in price, people who fail to understand the utility value of #Bitcoin will make more noise. Saying things like: "But no one is using it!" They can not explain the price going up, but they don't want to re-evaluate. So, they reiterate and reinforce their own position. If you're one of those people, I can only hope this video reaches you. For almost two years, we've been paying kids' rewards using #Bitcoin This would've been completely impossible using the banking system and very impractical (and risky) using cash. I don't think we would've considered doing these rewards if it wasn't for #Bitcoin

We've been paying kids' #Bitcoin rewards for almost two years now. The idea is simple. Use an easily measurable metric (like recorded attendance at The Surfer Kids Non-Profit daily program) and pay a ~$3/month reward, in #Bitcoin obviously, to those kids who attend most regularly. About a year ago, we implemented a system using Bolt Card and LNbits. Hosted on our own node sponsored by Voltage ⚡. With lots of help from Praia Bitcoin Brazil and Jesse 🟧⛏️🙏🙏🙏 Of course, the kids are free to spend their sats as they wish. It's theirs, they earned it. But they are also encouraged to save. And some do. At the beginning of 2024, we identified the top three savers and rewarded them for saving throughout 2023. Whatever they had saved, we doubled it. Below is the video. (I will also post their wallets' LNURL QR codes further down, if you'd like to give them extra encouragement, to keep saving, by sending them some extra sats.) And, the coolest thing about all of this is that it's only possible because of #Bitcoin. No way this would've worked with cash or traditional banking. It is only because of the open and permissionless nature of #Bitcoin that it's possible to build this sort of thing to begin with. Hopefully, this can serve as a small example of what the world could look like with the mass adoption of #Bitcoin
