Respectfully, I have never been taught we have to go to the brethren to speak to The Father. We do pray to The Father in the name of Christ though. That’s the only person I go through to do that. You’re conflating personal revelation from The Father with personal revelation for The Church as a whole. You have a “testimony of darkness” against President Oaks, President Monson, etc? Oof. Hope you get what you need out of stepping away from X 🙏🏾

Based dad - Aware of the shame she already undoubtedly had - Presence of mind not to jump on her about it but acknowledge “this wasn’t how you expected your sophomore year of BYU to end.” - Still invited her to worship with them and taught true principles surrounding that invite He didn’t minimize the situation but acknowledged it, loved her, invited her, and taught her more correct principles to apply in her life. Imo, he embodied 3 Nephi 18:32 - “Nevertheless, ye shall not cast him out of your synagogues, or your places of worship, for unto such shall ye continue to minister; for ye know not but what they will return and repent, and come unto me with full purpose of heart, and I shall heal them; and ye shall be the means of bringing salvation unto them.” Now she’s sharing this as a faithful member on social media. Well done, dad 👏🏾

My buddy sent me this viral Instagram video of some lady giving her last “testimony” or “talk” from the pulpit. Cursing, mocking, being obnoxious as hell, and selfish. LDS or not, you don’t need to do that in a place of worship that others hold sacred. Talk all the crap you want online or o the sidewalk by the building. Idc. But like this? This speaks volumes to the kind of human you are. With that said, I was FAR more disappointed in the leaders. How they let it go on longer than several seconds is beyond me. ———— GENUINE QUESTION: Aren’t we allowed to escort people out of the building and specifically from the pulpit? What are the rules surrounding an event like this?

‼️ AS PROMISED, THE RECORDING ‼️ This is why I question when people say they have read the Book of Mormon because this has happened countless times. I still try to give the benefit of the doubt, until they out themselves. Just in case! = = BACKSTORY: This guy came on to ask about Galatians 1:8 and said it’s why he was going to leave the LDS Church. First red flag: That Galatians 1:8 was a shelf breaker but you never know. Rare case it’s true. We let him continue just in case. Second red flag: He kept saying “ala salam” whenever he said Joseph Smith’s name. Still, we let him continue. Final red flag: Listen for yourself 🤣🤣🤣
