Zach LaVine on how long it takes for a team to gel on both ends: "Sometimes it's organized from the top down. Sometimes it's organized from a certain player on the team, like a Chris Paul... a very high-level leader... It can come from a veteran coach or even a bench coach." “But we're all working through it. We don't really have any of that right now, and it's not going to come anytime soon. So, as a collective, we need to figure out what's everybody's strengths..."

Zach LaVine on Kings needing to generate more 3Ps: “The right people got to shoot them. But, I mean, certain people aren’t off-the-dribble shooters, you know. So you have to help them get shots.” “You need to have downhill penetration. You got to have, you know, people being willing to help off of these guys. If they’re not willing to help, or if defenders aren’t getting beat and put in situations to rotate, you know, you’re not going to generate them unless you’re a good off-the-dribble three-point shooter, create your own shot.” “We only have so many of those guys on the team.”

During the losing streak, Keegan Murray asked De’Aaron Fox if it was a bottom five moment in Fox’s career. 😂 “We were 13-15 or 13-16 at the time he asked me this and I was like, ‘Keegan, if we were 13-16 in my first three years in the league that was fu—in great.’”

Ben Simmons was the first teammate to get to Maxime Raynaud after he went down and followed him to the locker room: “I’ve been through it. I know that feeling. So regardless of the sport itself or what happens, you just want to show support to your teammates.” “You got to be a good person, man. Like, the game is the game. Like we lost, who cares? I’m more worried about my teammate and how he’s doing.”

De’Andre Hunter on Sacramento’s potential defensive switchability between himself, Murray, and Simmons: “Keegan can guard one through four, one through five at times. I can do the same. Ben can do the same. So just having that ability to interchange like that, we don’t necessarily have a specific matchup.”
