We have raised over £2 million; the breakdown is there.” Looking at the figures you’ve provided, the total gross income for the two financial years is £990,740 not over £2 million. Can you explain how your claim of raising over £2 million reconciles with these published figures?” Is there another charity we don’t know about? It’s your time to declare Ali? 😝 Oh, sorry if I ask any questions, it suddenly falls under backbiting, slander, and casting aspersions. 😝 You won’t stop me from asking questions, and I know it burns. You are not above transparency. The Charity Commission has its standards, and the Shariah has its own standards. The accounts also show a combined surplus of approximately £476,510 over the two years. Can you explain why there is a substantial surplus and provide a breakdown of how those funds are being held or allocated? You can ignore me, as you said “Who are you”, but I’ll ensure this information is available for people to understand. Hiding behind the charity commission won’t help you.

Is the person running the Light Upon Light TikTok page high? They’re actually using this nasheed for an event featuring Mufti Menk and Dr. Omar Suleiman the pioneers of liberal, modernist Islam in the West 😂. And of course, charity partners are involved, so expect plenty of fundraising. 😂

Well, well, well. Ali dawah can pocket-watch a sister who is showing her lavish expenditure, not from taking charity money like him, where those handling it are bound by transparency through amanah and wakalah. You see him listing the items and their value, and he even came to a grand total of $4.7 million (even though the dope says pounds (£). 😝) Ali Drama speaks about excessive spending and quotes verses from the Qur’an and hadith from the Sunnah. Here he is advising everyone not to live lavishly, but doesn’t practice what he preaches. He enjoys lavish stays at The Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach two of the most lavish hotels in Dubai. You stayed there with your family and potential in-laws, right? You have been seen by more than one eyewitness staying at these lavish hotels with your extended family. The Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach hotels cost a fortune, and you were seen staying at these luxury hotels in both 2024 and 2025. That doesn’t even include the cost of flights or spending money. You know how expensive it is to stay at these hotels, don’t you? Let’s calculate the cost of a 7-night stay at these hotels. To be staying at both Atlantis and Jumeirah within the space of 12 months, you would have to be a millionaire, Ali. It is fair for us to ask these questions about Ali Drama, since he has been seen living a lavish lifestyle. There is nothing inherently wrong with that if it is funded from his own lawful means. However, because he is also managing public charity money, about which he has not been fully transparent, these questions are entirely legitimate. We have photographic evidence of your stay at a lavish hotel, so don’t try denying it. How are you able to finance these holidays, Ali Drama? Do you have a successful business? Your Companies House records show little or no substantial income from any of your companies. To clarify, Ali Drama’s only active company is EK (Erdi Kilic - his real name) Crescent Media Limited a video production company? However, its turnover doesn’t suggest someone who can afford to stay at The Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach hotels in Dubai. Has a generous millionaire offered to pay you your own family and potential in-laws for 2024 and 2025? You have a problem with me asking for full and complete transparency regarding the ummah’s charity money, so now LET’S CHECK YOUR FINANCES from the charity bank account, which is not your money. I think we should start off with the full bank statement for June 2025. You provided a list of the breakdown of a sister’s expenses, despite her having no connection to you. Are you her husband? It’s shameful in my opinion. Why don’t you provide a full and complete breakdown of your charity’s finances in the same way you did with her expenses, and not hide behind the charity commission. Published accounts fail to provide meaningful breakdowns of charitable expenditure, leaving donors uncertain whether their donations have been used as intended. Therefore, it is fair to say that the published accounts satisfy some basic reporting requirements, but they do not provide the level of detail required for full transparency. That observation relates solely to the level of transparency in the published accounts. I am not accusing you of misappropriating any money. However, it appears that some rabbinical Talmudic loopholes may have been employed to justify financing your lavish trips, staying at the Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach hotels in Dubai with your family. Was your mother also on one of these trips? Do you confirm or deny staying at these luxury hotels? Do you consider this to be consistent with your public statements about avoiding extravagance, particularly given your publicly presented financial circumstances? Are you flipping money Ali? 😝 We are waiting for your response إن شاء الله

Online pile-ons” is overdramatising what is happening, my friend. The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming and continues to mount. Lilly Jay’s charity is not a registered charity in Australia, so the donations she has received have no apparent mechanism for independent auditing. Nor has she provided any breakdown of income and expenditure. We do not need a pacifist approach to matters such as this. We need to take a firm stance and demand full transparency, with complete disclosure of the income and expenditure relating to donations raised for Gaza. It is also noteworthy that her foundation was established during the Gaza genocide. I was in Egypt supporting Palestinian refugees from Gaza who had escaped during the genocide, and I became familiar with witness statements alleging abuse by some charities, including claims that they were making substantial margins from aid convoys something we now see far fewer fundraising appeals for, rather strangely. Circumstantial evidence is permitted under Shariah. This is not her first controversy. She and her husband were arrested in 2023 in connection with allegations of fraud. We are not gullible, and there is a serious issue that must be addressed. The solution is complete transparency through the publication of receipts, bank statements, and a full financial account of donations received and how they were spent. As we can see from Lilly Jay’s case, AI was allegedly used to deceive people and solicit donations. I ask Allah to humiliate these mercenaries in this world and in the Hereafter. آمين. This keeps the focus on advocating for transparency and accountability while avoiding language that could be interpreted as encouraging unlawful or harmful action.

I won’t be recording another video about Ali Drama, the pound-for-pound king of reaction videos. He is currently in Makkah and has accused me of having a disease of the heart jealousy and envy all in the same sentence. I don’t take any of it to heart. You think you can take the ummah’s money and be left alone. You accepted the responsibility of collecting the amanah of the ummah, and with that comes the serious responsibility of providing complete transparency and accountability for every penny. بسم الله I’ve reviewed the charity’s published accounts, and one point requires a clear and transparent explanation. In the 2025 accounts, debtors are reported at £233,398, despite there being no debtors in 2024, and the accounts state that donations are recognised on receipt. The figures also show: • 2025 donations: £594,266 • 2024 donations: £396,473 • Cash at bank fell from £327,701 to £184,560 • Charitable expenditure remained broadly similar • The year-end unrestricted fund balance was £476,513 Based on these figures, it’s difficult to understand how a debtor balance of £233,398 has arisen. It appears significantly larger than would ordinarily be expected for a routine receivable, and it doesn’t obviously align with the reduction in cash, particularly when such a substantial amount of donated funds remains unspent. The straightforward question is: What does the £233,398 debtor balance relate to?

Light Upon Light had its first auction. I am not lying. A sister on TikTok, under the username belle.abd, posted a video on 19/12/25 which you can review, highlighting the structure of the event last year. I decided to watch this year’s event and, to be honest, it was no different. The mercenaries shove “charity” down your throat because they put down a substantial amount for this event. Only Allah knows what the mercenaries who were invited were paid - oh sorry, honorariums or hadiyah 😝. So, as far as business is concerned, they need to recoup their costs somehow. Human Appeal are not that charitable, let’s be honest. They brought Rahim Jung to start the auction, and he quoted the famous verse from Surah An-Nisāʾ: I don’t know how he connected this verse to zakat or ṣadaqah. Firstly, if you review the context and the language used by Allah, and secondly, the word used تُقَاتِلُونَ meaning “to fight”, as Imam al-Baghawī mentioned in his tafsīr when commenting on this verse: قوله تعالى : ( وما لكم لا تقاتلون ) لا تجاهدون ( في سبيل الله ) في طاعة الله ، يعاتبهم على ترك الجهاد The saying of Allah, the Exalted: “And what is the matter with you that you do not fight,” meaning you do not perform jihad (i.e. fighting). “In the cause of Allah,” that is, in obedience to Allah. He is reproaching them for abandoning jihad (fighting). The harsh truth is that Light Upon Light is a glorified fundraiser, sprinkled with celebrity speakers. I might sound like a broken record, but do you expect me to keep silent when my religion is monetised and exploited by mercenaries who see nothing but money? We have a duty to warn others of the wolves within our ummah.
