She is already an elected councillor in Wythenshawe, now leads the Reform group on Manchester City Council, and comes from a real-world background in property, renovation and project management. I'm fuming. From April 2027 the cash ISA limit drops to £12,000 for under-65s, and there's a flat 22% charge on cash interest inside stocks & shares ISAs. You earn it, you're taxed on it, you save it, then taxed again. Over-65s exempt. This is how they cripple ordinary savers.

Starmer says the state will come down like a ton of bricks on disorder in Northern Ireland. Fine. But people need to understand something: Britain in 2026 is not Britain in 1990. The Poll Tax riot ended with 339 arrests. Today, under CCTV, phone footage, ANPR, facial recognition, livestreams and social media evidence, that same disorder could become thousands of arrests after the fact. The crowd is no longer just a crowd. It is a data set.

So apparently two men stabbing nine people on a packed train, sending passengers running for their lives, isn’t being treated as a terror attack. Unbelievable. Counter-terrorism officers are involved, a whole town was locked down, and the Defence Secretary called it part of a “new era of threat” — but we’re told it’s not terrorism, just another “isolated incident.” If that’s the bar now, what exactly does count as terrorism? Reform got over four million votes in 2024 and still ended up with no proper Select Committee representation because Westminster works off MPs, not votes. But Rupert Lowe leaves Reform, sits as an independent, and somehow gets a Public Accounts Committee seat through the Conservatives. The mechanics do not match the excuse.
