My toddler's cancer is back, now in his brain. From two to three, he fought bravely. We celebrated a cancer-free third birthday, and now he must fight again to reach his fourth. I'm heartbroken. I can't kiss this boo-boo better or prevent his pain and suffering. This is the only life he knows; he doesn't understand. I must be strong for him, smile to hide the tears, and ensure he lives his best life possible. He's a little boy who only wants to play; he shouldn't be stuck in a hospital bed day and night with no end in sight. Super Bubba, my cancer warrior, and my other kids need me. I’m so overwhelmed by all of this happening at once. It’s like I can’t even make this stuff up. Please pray for us 🙏💛🎗️

On the way to check into the hospital, I took Super Bubba on a dinosaur hunt. He picked out a new T-Rex. 🦖 Tomorrow he has surgery to place a chemotherapy port for the second time in his short life. His first port was removed a couple of months ago because he was cancer-free. Unfortunately, things change. Change is the one guarantee in life. A trip to the store for a new toy isn’t a consolation prize for brain cancer. A new toy to open up and play with when we arrive makes the hospital stay a little more bearable for him. The hospital stay will consist of pain, poking, prodding, and doing things we both don’t want to do but have to do for his cure. I do my best to make as many happy moments for him as possible. He had a good time at the store. I’m so proud of this three-year-old cancer warrior who teaches me about resilience and endurance every day. I pray for his second miracle: to be completely cured of brain cancer. 🙏💪🎗️💛 #prayers #cancer Kingdom Highway Ministries • Rev. A.J. Wheeler

🚨 Super Bubba Update 🎗️🙏 He had a seizure. We are at the hospital awaiting an MRI. This boo-boo is called cancer. I can’t kiss it and make it better. As his mother, if I could take his place and suffer this for him, I would in a heartbeat. 💓 Watching him go through this is a different kind of suffering, the worst kind of torture for any parent. Please hold your children close today, tell them you love them, and say a prayer for my sweet Super Bubba. 🙏💛💪
