Good Morning Xitterverse friends! The Bison herd has arrived in Washington, DC!! As part of the United States' 10th anniversary of the National Bison Legacy Act this May, which made bison the official national mammal of the US, these incredible bison statues will "graze" on the National Mall as part of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's new bison exhibit. We are supposed to be there for the installation ceremony... but it means we have to go to D.C. ugh 24hrs/TNTFIU HUHAWD.

Bison are the best insulated animals on the planet. The will get crusted over with snow and ice, because their body heat doesn't escape that fine soft undercoat fiber. It's extremely fine.. finer than cashmere, and extremely comfortable. This is why we make things from their fur... it works really well. Mother nature takes care of itself.

Good Morning Xitterverse Friends... y'all basically put me out of business last night, most everything is gone, so I think today might be a good fishing day. Well, until the truck gets here... in the meantime, I am gonna go pull my packing shift. 24hrs/DFIU HUHAWD.
