Burscough football club would not like to only wish Goodie a massive good luck but we would like to thank him for some great memories in the short amount of time he’s been here. Goodie has been recalled by Everton to go back into the Squads. In the time he’s been here, he’s been a massive personality and a great keeper. He will be hugely missed on and off the field. We will continue to support and watch as his career progresses as we know how far he can go. What a player, what a kid and thank you to Everton for your help. Go and smash it mate, some sad faces today as we lose you but that’s football. Goodness Gospel-Eze, THANKYOU 🙌🏻 🤝

This football club is moving forward. Today, we are extremely proud to announce Phil Stafford as the new manager of Burscough Football Club. From the very first conversation, it was clear that Phil shared the same ambition, passion and vision for where we want to take this club both on and off the pitch. Phil joins the club with a fantastic reputation and brings with him passion, leadership, experience and a real hunger to help continue driving this football club forward, he’s a winner and proved that this season with AFC Liverpool. This is another huge step forward in our journey and we cannot wait to get started. As a football club, relationships and respect within the game are incredibly important. We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to everybody at AFC Liverpool, especially chairman Chris Stirrup, for the professionalism, respect and help shown throughout recent discussions regarding Phil Stafford. The way the situation was handled speaks volumes about the people at the club and we truly appreciate the support and cooperation shown to us throughout.
