On Tuesday, I met with Marines of VMFA-225 and the 22nd MEU supporting U.S. Southern Command. When you send U.S. Marines forward, we establish C2, generate sustainment, and project combat power to enable the joint fight.

As Commandant, there is nothing I enjoy more than visiting Marines. Thank you to the Marines & Sailors of the 22nd MEU for hosting me. You are clearly ready to deploy and represent our Nation as a credible crisis response force, & I look forward to seeing what you accomplish.
