After going to war with Ivan Zucco in the ring yesterday, today I went to his hotel to meet his family, exchanged team kits and then took him and his girlfriend out for food, introduced him to his first Yorkshire pudding as well (watch the video for his reaction) 🇬🇧 I think I managed to convince him that Barnsley is in fact better than Rome 😅 Nothing but respect for Ivan and Team Zucco, absolute class inside and outside the ring ❤️👊🏽 BOXXER | Sky Sports Boxing | Barnsley FC

Tonight wasn’t my night, which I will learn from, but the support was unbelievable ❤️ The amount of messages and love I’ve received has been genuinely overwhelming. Thank you to everyone for sticking by me, from Barnsley to all across Yorkshire 🙌🏽 I’m incredibly proud to have brought another big night to Yorkshire and some unforgettable nights to our town, and I know there are still some massive nights ahead of us. Huge respect and congratulations to Troy Williamson on the win. I hope you have a great Christmas with your family 🤝 This setback doesn’t define me. I’ll learn from it, regroup, and come back stronger. Yorkshire grit. Barnsley pride. We dust ourselves off and go again 👊🏽❤️

A few weeks ago, I visited my old amateur boxing gym and noticed there weren’t any girls training. Being surrounded by so many incredible female fighters since signing with Boxxer made me realise how important it is to create more opportunities for women at grassroots level. So I wanted to do something special for our community here in Barnsley… I decided to host our first Box-Her event, to give women and girls the chance to step into the ring, learn the basics of boxing, and see what it’s about 🥊 We had 60 attendees, from ages 10 and up, with amazing energy and plenty of new skills learned 👊🏽 Take a look at how it went ⬇️

As an official ambassador for Barnsley Foodbank Partnership it was an honour to lend a hand and spend time volunteering with the amazing team behind the scenes; alongside my Dad and Fiancée. I think it’s important for me to see first hand what’s really going on and to understand the challenges families in our community are facing. While I was there, I spoke with the management team to learn more about how I can help, beyond donations and short term support. This is about creating a long term impact.
