Thinking about it, it’s probably because it’s almost impossible to truly grasp what 6G of lateral force feels like for an F1 driver. Until 2003, the most extreme example was David Purley’s crash, where he survived an almost unimaginable deceleration of 179.8G, the highest ever recorded for a human at the time
