Yesterday I witnessed this shocking reality firsthand on my way to Victoria Falls. The road leading to one of the world's most iconic tourist attractions is in a deplorable state of disrepair. The number of potholes has reached catastrophic levels, causing trucks to lose their axles and resulting in an alarming increase in accidents. This critical route, which should be a showcase for Zimbabwe's tourism industry, has been grossly neglected by the regime in Harare. #ZanuPfMustGo

Nothing is new under the sun. We must confront and condemn the enablers of the current regime with the same moral clarity and resolve that younger generations directed against collaborators and defenders of the Smith regime. History keeps a faithful record, it has no blank pages. #NoTo2030

We received an SOS in the middle of the night that our former MP for Mabvuku/Tafara Hon Chidhakwa was abducted and badly assaulted by unknown assailants and found dumped in Acturus. He is badly injured and has been injected with an Unknown substance. He has a lot of deep cuts and is currently hospitalized.

On this day, 11 September 1999, 26 years ago democratic forces converged to give birth to the Movement for Democratic Change- a social democratic party and a historic vehicle through which workers, peasants, and the oppressed of Zimbabwe found full political expression. For over two decades, this movement has stood as a bulwark against authoritarianism. The journey has not been without pain: arrests, harassment, intimidation,in some cases loss of property and belongings, torture, and even death have scarred the lives of those who dared to dream of a free and democratic society. Yet, history teaches us that such sacrifices are part of the price we have to pay for the freedom of all. Along the way, there have also been betrayals, pain, and infiltration by regime agents — realities not only unique to Zimbabwe but common to most democratic struggles across the world. Still we have to fight on. As we reflect on this difficult and painful journey, some of us believe the dream is still alive, the fight must continue. It must be carried forward with courage and conviction. So much despair, yet so much hope. The future is ours to fight for! Aluta continua!

The Raw Data: As we traverse the country, we take time to listen to the wisdom of the Citizens. This are the people who drive and give life to the Alternative as led by President Chamisa. In their name we continue to pronounce the case of democracy and freedom.
