📕Debunking Thomas Dalton: Part 1. A critical look at the introduction to Dalton's Translation of Mеіո Kаmрf. Here are the four main issues with Dalton's religion section in his Introduction to MK: 1. Dalton claims that Hitler only refers to Jesus "Indirectly" which is blatantly false inside MK itself! See page 342 of the Stalag edition: "At that time Christ was nailed to the Cross for his attitude towards the j-ws". 2. Dalton tries to introduce the idea that secular references to enlightenment concepts are expressed religiously, when all religious and spiritual meaning had been stripped from the Grecco-Roman tradition in the modern European gestalt for thousands of years. Dalton claims that these references are "Not Mere metaphors" when we have zero evidence that they were anything BUT metaphors. 3. Dalton also incorrectly claims that Providence is a pagan concept. (See below). 4. Dalton ignores Hitlers sharp criticisms of Paganism in Mein Kampf, showing a dishonest, lazy, or ideologically driven look at the text that misleads the reader.
