So this car is still here. After receiving multiple messages claiming it belongs to Hakeem Jeffries and asking me to take the video down, it piqued my interest, so I went back. The car is still there. Based on the “204” on the House parking designation, the college decal on the rear of the vehicle, and the fact that was purchased in Massachusetts rather than Texas, there’s a possibility it belongs to Hakeem Jeffries or someone on his staff. At this point, though, I can’t confirm who the vehicle belongs to.

Back in April, TMZ DC’s TMZ Jacob Waserman Jacob Wasserman and I went to Senator Mitch McConnell’s office simply to introduce ourselves. Stephanie Penn came out, handed us the office manager’s card (Emily Louden, who is actually blonde), and seemed visibly upset that we were even there. After that introduction, she apparently contacted the RTCA, the Senate Press Gallery, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms in an effort to have me removed from Capitol Hill. The RTCA then reportedly had a 30-minute conversation with TMZ DC before they were credentialed about this interaction. It’s worth noting that Senator Mitch McConnell chaired the Senate Rules Committee, which oversees Senate press credentials and gallery access. Those functions are now being managed solely by his staff.

Most contractors would typically arrive in their own vehicles, but maybe they hired someone from Kentucky, who also works at Congress.

Elaine Chao’s photo leaving the hospital looked more like a Hollywood-style photo op than a candid paparazzi shot, in my opinion. There are three main hospital entrances to cover, yet she was dressed in a way that made her difficult to recognize. That raises questions for me: How did photographers know where to be? Were they tipped off? And if they were, why didn’t anyone ask the obvious questions about Senator McConnell’s condition or her recent trip to China?
