Going through some new TV recording tapes a friend of mine sent me - from the ABC Kids digital channel, we came across this promo for Thomas series 7 announcing character names... and we have proof of Arthur's original name being Clarence. Our reaction at the end.

Absolutely INSANE to learn that not only did the Thomas pilot become part of a bit on 2025's instalment of "The Last Year of Television" as seen on Binge here in Australia - but so did Johnson -- and MY CHANNEL!!! which you can see there in the picture. mindbogglingly awesome
