Every time we get a blast of snow, there’s more and more shops/sheds in the Peace Country collapsing because of the snow load. Today we took care of that stress, and at least it’s only -16°c today. 👌🏼 This side of the shop is the North side, so it doesn’t have as much snow cover as the south side does. The lift just makes it so much safer. There is already a young fella from the area that is going down a long road of recovery, as the building he was shovelling off, collapsed and he landed in the wreck. Snow safety, is something we haven’t had to have on our radar for quite a few years to say the least.

So. We (15) learned a very important lesson tonight. Throttle cable stuck on the sled and he didn’t have the kill cord attached properly. Watch until the end. It only gets worse 🫣 Luckily no one or dog was hurt and the sled has minimal damage that can be fixed. I’m also going to buy a lottery ticket tonight, because where the sled caught air, there was a truck parked previously and was moved 10 minutes prior to this little runaway. 🫠
