Thais are paradoxical. They’re the cleanest people I’ve ever met, impeccable personal hygiene (far better than most Europeans), spotless homes cleaned daily, and clothes that always smell fresh. Yet they’ll happily eat right next to an open sewer that smells pretty bad 🤷‍♀️ These little canals are everywhere in Bangkok - business prop up around them, restuarants, even malls (Terminal 21 Asoke).

Cambodian driving, compared to Thai driving, is like chalk and cheese. Many Thai motorcyclists drive incredibly fast and dangerously. In Cambodia, no one seems to be in a rush. The traffic is slow even when there’s no traffic. It’s feels unnatural 😂 after experiencing Thailand.

Phnom Penh. This Klong smelt so bad it made me retch as I recorded. I intended to record the food stalls that run along but only managed to get to the drinks “shop” before I gave up and walked to the other side of the road. I have smelt bad Klongs before, but this one took the biscuit. Many poor souls live along it.

I recorded this while flying over Beijing. Notice the flashes? These are everywhere in China. They photograph every passing car, capturing the license plate, front of the vehicle, and the driver's face through the windshield. The bright white flash lights up the car's interior so the driver is clearly visible, even at night. They're used for security, catching wanted people or stolen vehicles, verifying the licensed driver, automatically detecting violations (no seatbelt, phone use, unlicensed driving), and matching faces against the national database for warrants. Results are instant.

Exactly four years ago this month, I was staying in this beachfront apartment in the Caribbean when I lost $40,000 in the Luna crash. I had $20k staked in UST on Terra and another $20k in LUNA and eco-coins. By March 13th, my entire $40k was worth about around $1. I posted about it at the time, this isn’t new. What I didn’t fully comprehend was the knock-on effect. The whole market came crashing down. It was a genuinely dark time. Why didn't I cash out? I couldn't. All the funds where locked into a 30 day unlocking protocol. I couldn't access the coins to sell them. That moment marked the end of my COVID travels. A few weeks later, I flew back to England for the Queen’s Jubilee. Whoo-hoo! Loved it. 💕 I posted the 'don't worry' clip on Twitter a few days before the crash. The irony. Ironically, again - I lost 15k on the MANTRA OM collapse last year too. But I was lucky I had bought the OM for just a couple of 2,000 USD. Hey Ho. Life ... we live and learn.

After all, how can you get scammed while having a massage? I didn’t even realise I’d been scammed until the next day. And even then, I had no idea it was the massage shop until recalling the previous days events to a colleague. I have looked into it since, and it's a pretty big issue here in Phnom Penh. Here's what happened.

In China, if you travel business class on a train, the staff will take you from the lounge, through security, and plonk you in your seat 💕. I am travelling 250 miles today. My ticket cost around $70 I have the old business class seat today. They are around 15 years old. But on busier routes, business class seats are like self-enclosed pods with a door and TV, like you get in first class on planes.

I got annoyed but he calmly said, “Just 3 minutes for the battery swap.” He wasn’t lying. In and out in three minutes flat. Mind blown. Here's an example of the process sped up💕

The remains of the ship were buried under Kwai Tsing Container Terminal 9 in land reclamation in the 1990s
