Riccardo Cassano, Como 1907’s 17-year-old Italian midfielder, made his first-team appearance in the pre-season match against Paris FC at the Sinigaglia. During his time on the pitch, he showed great determination and offered a glimpse of the quality he can bring to the team. A product of the Lariani’s youth academy, where he was one of the standout players for the Como U17 side last season, Cassano joined first-team training sessions towards the end of the campaign. He also earned his first call-up for the final home match against Parma.
