NHS nightmare update: After three days, my wife still hadn't received an ultrasound or an appointment for one, despite suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT). She runs out of blood-thinner injections in a few days, but we were just told wasn't considered "Urgent" by the Radiology department, and hasn't been referred DVT clinic, despite the risk to her and the babies. We were told on Monday and Tuesday to expect a call from Scans that day, and to call back if we hadn't heard anything. We call back today, and the below is what we got before being passed onto the switchboard. (Excuse my disheveled appearance.) After being passed between departments, we called Maternity Triage again, and a kind English woman answered the phone, listened to everything that happened, and said she would call us back with news within half an hour. Five minutes later, she called back with a scan appointment for tomorrow morning, and immediate follow-up with Maternity. Couldn't have been more helpful. Hopefully we get to the bottom of this tomorrow, and she gets prescribed the treatment she needs to keep her and the girls safe. In the meantime, my Nan has been taken into hospital and kept overnight for complications related to her chronic blood cancer. It's treatable, but not curable, and by all accounts she's being well attended to. A stressful time for the Tomlinsons. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

People are trying to make sense of why Reform have put forward Laila Cunningham as their candidate for Mayor of London. Is she a real Muslim? Is Reform containment? The simplest answer is that Cunningham is only interested in politics as a path for self-promotion. She's a grifter. She saw Reform are likely to form the next government, rote-learned the slick "British values" talking points to get ahead in a party desperate to not be called racist, and was pushed as the progressive-proof face of the party. Everything she does is to increase her personal advantage. She made headlines with her "supermum" citizens arrest stunt. She was in favour of hate crime legislation when it benefitted her. She wrote Woke poetry about how London's diversity was its strength — words which could have come straight from the mouth of Sadiq Khan. Then she jumped aboard the Conservatives when they were in power. She took selfies with everyone she could, because it was more important to be seen at functions than to be actually doing anything. She went to Pride and hosted the first Iftar event as a Councillor for Westminster North. The contradictions don't matter. She doesn't believe anything consistent. These are just the rituals of being a part of liberal political circles. The passwords you have to speak to be part of the club. It gatekeeps in favour of shameless grifters. She only pulled out of being the Conservative Parliamentary candidate for Rotherham right before the 2024 election. What connection does she have to Rotherham? None, since she loves London so much that she's always lived there and wants to be Mayor. She just took the seat as a nonwhite Muslim woman, until she realised she couldn't win and it would damage her future prospects. We shouldn’t trust Cunningham. Not just because she's a Muslim, and both the British right and public at large don't like Islam. We shouldn’t trust her because her entire political career appears to be about making her famous. She wants to be in power and on camera for the sake of it. She isn't really all that interested in philosophy or policy. Otherwise, she wouldn't be reciting insults like "far right" or pushing the incoherent platitudes of "British values", because neither stand up to scrutiny. It's a grift. And if we want an effective right-wing in this country, we shouldn’t reward it.

But without the likes of Orr, even if Reform wins an election, they won't be able to govern effectively. The doors for fresh young talent to enter the civil service will close. The quality of policy and personnel will diminish. Reform will regress to posting about woke vegan breakfasts, and be consumed by factional infighting over who will be Farage's successor. Since Rupert Lowe proposed a pact with Reform UK, the Telegraph has published constant hit pieces about Restore Britain. The accusations are demented. They've quoted Jewish Labour activists to call Restore fascists, Nazis, white supremacists, racists, antisemites, and the reincarnation of Oswald Mosley. They've said Restore are a threat to Jews, despite complaining that Restore, like most of the public, believes Islam is incompatible with British identity. Restore Britain has driven these people insane. These authors recognise the principle of national sovereignty and demographic security when applied in Israel — they just refuse to grant it to Britain. Some even defend this double standard. They engage in wishful thinking about civic nationalism and integration instead, as if we can overcome human nature by insisting on "British values". Rupert Lowe has refused to back down from his reasonable position that native Brits should not become a minority in their own country. Which is why it's frustrating to see Reform demand the expulsion of Charlie Downes and other Restore members before talks proceed. Concealed behind the Telegraph's attacks is a desire to see Reform in coalition with the Conservatives. If Reform takes this bait, the slurs also used against Nigel Farage gain more unwarranted power, and the shepherds of the Boriswave come a step closer to getting back into government.

Britain's national debt is almost £3 trillion, equal to 94 per cent of GDP. We add £95.9 billion a year to it, and spend £100 billion a year servicing it. We have seen cumulative inflation of 31.3 per cent since 2020. Borrowing is up £700 million from 2025, £2.3 billion more than the OBR forecast. We spend more on welfare (£333 billion) than we take in income tax (£331 billion), with the bill set to reach £400 billion by 2030. 53 per cent of households receive more in benefits than they pay in taxes, despite taxes being the highest since 1948. We have the most expensive energy costs in the developed world, but refuse to use our domestic oil and gas reserves purely because of ideology. We cannot go on like this. We can't afford to. Fortunately, we don't have to. Decline is a choice. Both Reform UK and Restore Britain have proposed sensible economic and energy policies to reverse our national poverty. Reform promises to - abolish Indefinite Leave to Remain; - ban foreign nationals from claiming benefits; - put people making bogus PIP and unemployment claims back to work, by requiring in-person assessments for disability benefits, and community service for anyone on out-of-work benefits for a year or more; - liquidate useless Quangos and shrink the civil service, by reverting government departments to Ministerial control; - repeal the Climate Change Act, and scrap Net Zero; - build small modular nuclear reactors, and issue new North Sea Oil and gas licenses. Restore agree. Atop the above, their policy papers propose - denaturalising and deporting immigrants who have been granted British citizenship, but receive more in benefits than they contribute in taxes; - raising income, corporation and capital gains tax and VAT registration thresholds; - returning the Bank of England and its Monetary Policy Committee to Ministerial control; - abolishing stamp duty, inheritance tax, and the climate change levy; - and renegotiating renewables contracts to reduce or eliminate subsidies. All of these are sensible suggestions that will save us billions. If we want to restore Britain's prosperity, we should all be on the same page about these policies.

NHS staff are complaining that patients are refusing to be treated by non-white doctors and nurses. It’s not because of “racism.” It’s because frontline care is getting worse after thousands of foreign doctors and nurses who barely speak English, lack compassion, and have fraudulent qualifications have been hired in recent years. Despite funding increasing every year, now to £225 billion, and 1.5 million staff, the NHS cannot meet demand. Arbitrary caps on medical school and hospital placements mean we reject qualified British doctors and nurses, and recruit inferior counterparts from the Third World instead. The NHS spends £3 billion in annual malpractice payouts and £40 billion on mandatory DEI training, teaching them to resent their white patients. The result is poor care, long wait times, missed diagnoses, and preventable complications and deaths. But politicians are too afraid of blaspheming against Britain’s national religion to admit it. This week, my wife, now twenty-five weeks pregnant with twins, suffered a blood clot and severe swelling in her left leg. She spent seventeen hours waiting for an assessment. She was seen by an African nurse who barely spoke English and made multiple spelling errors in her referral letter, and another who shouted at her for speaking too slowly and in too much detail about her symptoms. I documented the ordeal in a series of X posts, which attracted millions of views. The comments were filled with people sharing similar horrifying stories. Thank you to everyone who provided their prayers, advice, and concern for my wife and children. The NHS is forcing patients to either risk being called "racist" or not receive proper treatment. I would rather offend someone than let my loved ones die. It doesn’t have to be this way. Cannot believe what I've just heard on the BBC. Two guests, back to back, speculate why this 50-year-old Saudi Arabian committed this attack on the Magdeburg Christmas Market. Neither mention Islam. Instead, they suggest he might have lost his job, or been divorced. We cannot ignore the obvious elephant in the room. The second guest then wondered in a later segment why this market had no concrete bollards to prevent the car from driving through the crowd. We would not need such blockades, if politicians had not imported terrorists i to Europe.

Tax deductions for private healthcare is an obviously sensible policy, and the only reason we don't do it already is purely because of ideology. Remember when Starmer said he would refuse to take a sick relative to private care if the waiting lists were too long, because "I don't use private health... The NHS is in my DNA"? Politicians have the same relationship with the NHS that some Soviet Gulag inmates Solzhenitsyn wrote about had with the Communist Party. When George Floyd died in Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey wept beside his golden casket, Keir Starmer took the knee for Black Lives Matter, and politicians cheered on global riots while calling to defund the police. But when 18-year-old student Henry Nowak is stabbed (allegedly) by a Sikh in Southampton, and bled to death in police custody under arrest on suspicion of racism, politicians are silent. Just had the police show up at my door, investigating an "anonymous" domestic abuse and "coercive control" allegation made against me. Two officers spoke to my wife, and concluded it was malicious and politically motivated. The police were professional and apologetic. I won't share their identities when they were just doing their job. They shouldn't have their time wasted like that. But this is a new low. Disagree with me about anything you like, but leave my family out of it.

I am sick of hearing about how "British values" means accommodating foreign peoples who hate us. I am sick of being condescended to about my culture, history, and heritage by immigrants. I am sick of Muslim activists deciding what is and isn't Christian, when they have contempt for our traditions. Stop wearing my national identity as a skinsuit so you can browbeat me into paying for foreign criminals. I'm not bloody having it.
