Today, Core Scientific and Block announced an ongoing project involving Block’s latest bitcoin mining chip. -Core Scientific and Block will work together on a new miner to democratize Bitcoin mining -Block to supply Core Scientific with ~15 EH/s of new 3 nanometer ASIC mining chips -Core Scientific is the first large-scale miner to procure Block's new ASIC mining technology “We have worked closely with the team at Block to develop the next generation of mining technology that not only helps support our significant hashrate growth plans within our existing infrastructure, but also provides all mining companies with more miner options. #ICYMI: Here’s a quick look at the construction highlights from our most recent earnings call Denton Project Delivery Progress: - Delivering the first 8 megawatts of capacity to our customer this month - Another 40 megawatts will come online by the end of Q2 - Additional capacity will continue to be delivered on a consistent schedule throughout the rest of the year Denton Project Totals to Date: - Scaled manpower to over 600 contractors - Logged over 187,000 man-hours - Poured more than 2,800 cubic yards of concrete - Installed over 30 miles of conduit Thanks to the deep expertise and execution speed of the $CORZ delivery team and our trade partners, we remain on track to deliver 250 megawatts of billable capacity to our customer by the end of this year.
