Kemi Badenoch was excellent at PMQs today, skewering Keir Starmer over Labour’s absurd plan to bring sex toys into Parliament. Her charge that he was “fiddling while Rome burns” landed perfectly, leaving Starmer looking weak and humiliated.

Robert Jenrick was just speaking in the chamber and Cameron Thomas the Liberal Democrat MP appeared to slap himself in the face.

Not only did Kemi Badenoch deliver a storming speech in Parliament, but earlier this morning she appeared on LBC, where a caller challenged her to rap. Is there no end to this woman’s talents? {satire}

The BBC and Have I Got News For You have sunk very low, joking about RFK Jr being assassinated. Given his father was murdered in the 1960s, and with political violence rising again, this Richard Ayoade-produced “joke” is shameful.

Absolutely extraordinary exchange at PMQs. Kemi Badenoch took Bridget Phillipson apart while Starmer sat there looking utterly finished. Kemi was in her element, brutal and completely in command. Starmer had nowhere left to run while Phillipson looked near to tears.

At PMQs, Green MP Hannah Spencer, draped in exquisite Gucci, accused Lee Anderson and Sarah Pochin of being “dirty and grubby.” But Starmer landed the line, calling out Zack Polanski’s absence and asking if he’d swapped his houseboat for a submarine.

Weird Green MP Hannah Spencer bangs on about MPs drinking, wasting her PMQ question on a non-issue, only to be heckled by Sarah Pochin of Reform UK who tells her to “sort her policies out” The constituents of Gorton and Denton must be wanting a refund for this.

Kemi Badenoch just annihilated David Lammy, telling Labour to wake up from la-la land as their psychodrama consumes Westminster. On the day Starmer resigns, Britain faces grave threats, yet Labour still won’t get serious about defence spending. At least Kemi has our back.

Kemi Badenoch put a visibly rattled, time-wasting Prime Minister under real pressure, as Keir Starmer slipped into full Dalek mode trying to explain himself to the Commons. Badenoch did not miss a beat. This was one of her strongest PMQs performances yet.
