An incredible story of a heroic rescue. He was badly wounded. His gear was gone. russian FPVs were closing in. But he stayed. A Ukrainian soldier of the 66th Mechanized Brigade used his rifle to shoot down three enemy FPVs while protecting his unconscious brother-in-arms. He could have thought about himself. Instead, he chose to save another life. This is courage. This is brotherhood.

Today's meltdown in russia is over this video. A Crimean woman asks an Alfa-Bank employee a simple question: "Is Crimea ours?" Instead of simply saying "yes," he replies: "That's a provocative question." He then adds that the bank refuses to issue loans to people with Crimean registration. Even one of russia's largest banks doesn't treat Crimea as part of russia. That tells you everything.

Occupied Oleshky is being slowly strangled. Local residents are exposing the lies behind russian propaganda about a Ukrainian strike on a convoy carrying food. Read this message from locals: “Even the hospital has run out of food. There is no fuel left anywhere for generators either. The local hospital will continue operating until the end of the week, after which it will be ‘temporarily closed.’ The reason is the complete lack of supplies and the inability to evacuate people. Local residents had been desperately waiting for the vehicles seen in the video since the beginning of August. They were not allowed through for an entire month, and as soon as the occupiers finally ‘approved’ them, the convoy was attacked along its route. The vehicles reached the ‘Twins’ area in Sahi. There, they spotted what appeared to be mines on the road. The occupiers had still not cleared the road beyond Oleshky. The drivers noticed them, turned the convoy around, and headed back toward the Radensk area. That was when drones attacked them. The video shows the vehicles being hit in the radiators, while the first vehicle was struck on the roof. Most likely, the occupiers wanted to seize the food and take it into the tree line. The drivers survived. They hid in the woods and eventually escaped on foot, abandoning the vehicles. The hospital in Oleshky was waiting for this convoy so that wounded people could be evacuated to Skadovsk. One of the vans was also supposed to transport the bodies of those killed for forensic examination and bring them out. Other remaining civilian vehicles carrying people were also planning to join the convoy and evacuate together. In the end, no one received the food they had been waiting for. No one was able to leave. Even the wounded could not be evacuated. The blockade of the city continues.”

Absolutely heartbreaking footage. “How could this happen, Mom?! I can’t take this…” — a son cries over his mother’s mangled body. An elderly couple was trying to flee Druzhkivka with only the essentials. A russian FPV drone chased them down the road. The explosion happened right under their feet. The man suffered multiple injuries to his legs. The woman lost parts of both legs and fingers on one hand. Their son ran to them after hearing their cries for help. Medics from the Khizhak Brigade provided emergency aid and evacuated the couple using a ground robotic system. The mother later died in hospital. This is the reality of life in Ukraine.
