I found this one really good for practicing ARIRANG personally.

Timbaland. Black American producer. Produced many iconic songs that you may, or may not know you know, but love. Aaliyah - Try Again Missy Elliott - Get your Freak On Nelly Furtado's 'Loose' album One Republic - Apologize Sample of work & what Ryan means. Research to help understand how Timbaland's concept inspired Ryan's approach toward the 'repeat' sample that underpins BtB & got many of y'all excited about it just from the Arirang trailer alone.

Just gonna say, be careful how you describe this 'barking' action. It was popularized here in US back in late '80s w/ Arsenio Hall Show—a groundbreaking moment for Black culture, first Black late night host. It wasn't male only, crude, cheap nor "sh*t"; it was complimentary hype for an entertainer & united cultures back then. You may not like it, but calling 'sh*t' as someone did is bit much. As for concerts, it's not happening after every song as they trying to suggest cuz let's be real if it were twt would be on fire abt it. Cuz no one here can keep anything to themselves for 5sec much less if it was overwhelmingly happening after every song. At HoTS, it was during breaks (while he drank or before a ment) & stopped when he spoke...unless he encouraged. J-Hope name chants far outnumbered barks easily. Jin himself said he enjoyed it when he first heard it in Anaheim. And of the concert clips seen from US stops thus far barking isn't being heard in every clip. So yeah, concert name chant culture hasn't been completely replaced by barking. Quoting that clip to suggest he's not hearing name chanted anymore? Seems a bit disingenuous & w/ way some speaking on it starting to feel like another dig at US ARMY/concerts. We may each individually have our feelings abt it but no need to try to stretch truth ["after every song"] abt what's happening at concerts🤔

Just leaving this here. This shows how some US labels blow artists $, often without their knowledge. You rly think an artist approved ~$20K for packaging most toss? Yet some would be creaming themselves or nodding yep that's the "bare minimum", forgetting the artist pays for it. BTS having autonomy under BH is something to be proud of, not resent. You think artists like T.S or 🐝 don't call shots on their own promos? The label just does it all? Be fr. No label is perfect just look up the messiness of US industry. How some artists have to beg to be able to release a song or make it "TikTok famous" before label will give 'green light' for release. If BTS were under a US label, as some seem to want too, sure, you might get the kind of promos you want but likely at the cost of their creative control. Some clearly don’t care about BTS' own words on wanting to feel good about the music they release, ethically & artistically. This same mindset had ppl on here calling JiTB album "a piece of paper" "NTFs" a "cash grab" or "sabotage," only to look & feel foolish learning thru docu & HE album notes that🐿️chose everything himself as he said all along during OG promos. Fans dragging "the company" for not giving the "bare minimum" wasn't dragging the company to🐿️, it felt like fans dragging him & his choices. Sometimes ppl really do blame "the company" when their beef is -really- w/ the grp/members' own vision & wants. Now, with renewed contracts they negotiated in shareholder voting rights for each individually, y'all rly think they can't/don't choose promo directions? Be for real. If they don't want to pay for PLs or radio, that's their decision. Respect that instead of assuming it's all company holding them back. I don't stan the Co. I stan BTS. Until they say otherwise, I'll trust what they say they want, not what fans think they know should be 'bare minimum' when they aren't paying the bill. All that said I do think Geffen needs to step their game up in how they handle their side of the distro. deal & they've been sorely lacking in CH2 but again, members w/ their exposure & look at each other's different promo styles can dictate what they like, want & expect from the companies for future group roll outs.

RM said himself what this song meant for him & it's not what y'all keep trying to twist it to mean or bully him with. It isn't political commentary, it has 0 true politcal context, rather a social context that's being self applied. How one experience & express their humanity is on them. It's for no one else to decide for someone else. 'I wanna be human before I do some art' To most honestly create art one must be & experience life; not just be creating art to create it. While Yun lived through harsh times, struggled & suffered his own [& collective] injustice—as result of the Korean War—he didn't let that evil lived experience [cruel world] keep him down. He didn't stop creating. In fact, it was Yun's lived experiences [joys, hardships, & sorrows] that allowed him to find truth; to channel & create 'true beauty, [through] true sorrow [sadness].' Through this, living as human and then creating, RM & others who consume Yun's art, could truly feel his [& even their own] madness. Yun's creating art, through his lived humanity, despite rough [cruel] times, was part of his philosophy & what RM wishes himself to be able to emulate. Thus why 'Yun' was written both as a tribute to the artist that inspires him & as a reminder & hope for himself to be able to live & experience life [be human] & then create art [most honestly]. RM wished to capture this through 'Yun' (including that lyric y'all love to reduce & twist in context and the song's hook [sung by Erykah Badu]) to inspire himself to live up to what Yun's philosophy meant to him. To not forget to live & experience life as a human rather than just create with no sense of being. But can't expect ppl who cherrypick Joon's words & interviews now—only to try to weaponize them against him & others—to understand this.🙄

Timing I swear. This what some want for 875... Yep go, go western label! You'll get the PLs, maybe fanciest promos but only if you give 'em the release -they- want & when. Kiss tracks like WF or CBTM, goodbye. Tho some of y'all wouldn't mind that tbvh.
