I've noticed the Jason Benetti love has come with a lot of Matt Shepard hate. I want to remind fans that Shep was the only person with a voice in the Tigers organization that was echoing how the fans actually felt after a disappointing season in 2022.

Briceno hitting a HR against Skubal in Spring Training is cool, but please remember that at the same age Miguel Cabrera was hitting HR's off Roger Clemens. In the World Series.

Was thinking this last night - Kyle Tucker is signed till age 32. Miguel Cabrera's last MVP caliber season, 33. In retrospect would you have paid Miguel Cabrera 60 million a year for his age 29-32 seasons? Averaged: 6.2 bWAR, 168 OPS+ a year
