🚨 The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have taken over the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Nyala using a civilian academic institution as a site for military graduation and training ceremonies. The militarization of educational institutions is a clear violation of international humanitarian law. It endangers civilians, strips academic spaces of their protected status, and devastates the future of education in Sudan. DNHR has verified this through detailed geospatial analysis, cross-referencing landmarks and buildings in RSF-affiliated footage with satellite imagery of the site. 🚨 SAF Drone Strike Hits IDP-Inhabited Area in Central Darfur This morning, April 27, 2026, the Sudanese Armed Forces carried out a drone strike targeting the Al-Hamidiya camp in Zalingei, Central Darfur State, Block 4. The attack caused damage to buildings and property in the area. As of now, casualties have not yet been confirmed.
