Waseca native and former Minnesota State Mankato guard Malik Willingham will be among draft prospects in with the #Timberwolves tomorrow for a workout, I hear. He’s a big reason why the Mavs won the D-II title. #WolvesBack

I'd love to see the #MNTwins spend aggressively in November pre-lockout and while doing so, re-sign reliever A.J. Minter. Caught up with him this afternoon:

Always fun to take in the fast-paced P.J. Fleck-run #Gophers practice. Noticed scouts from the #Lions, #Eagles, #Bucs, + #Browns present today. That will be a common theme all year w/ NFL prospects No. 65 OL Greg Johnson, No. 0 DL Anthony Smith, No. 5 QB Drake Lindsey, & others.

1-year veteran minimum for Trey Lyles = good depth piece for Wolves. Very willing to mix it up too. Played for Real Madrid last year after 10 previous seasons in the NBA. #WolvesBack

Mentioned on Flagrant Howls and will hammer home here: “Perfect fit!” = thoughts from folks at Mayo Square on Ball. Talent undeniable. They feel like getting him in this environment will elevate his maturation + ability to stay on the court. #WolvesBack

While at ballpark, I also caught up w/ #Royals broadcaster/ex-#Gophers OF Ryan Lefebvre. He played for John Anderson 1990-'93. He told me off mic he spoke w/ Jan, John's wife the other day, & she began asking about Ryan & making sure he was ok. Selfless family. Some of our chat:
