Stop shaming our children over a story that has been proven to be a hoax. The Kamloops 215 story was always meant to get British Columbians/Canadians to drop their guards when it came to land claims, name changes, and radical "anti-colonial" politics being pushed everywhere. The reason it is important to call out the K215 hoax is because lies like it are the root to so many of the current problems we are facing in British Columbia. It's meant to make people feel ashamed and be unwilling to fight to maintain our institutions and public/private property rights.

What you may not know is that the band got another $12.5 million to build a "healing house," despite the claim of the 215 not being proven.
