This strange ceramic model of an ox on four wheels was found in Cherkaska oblast, Ukraine. Dating to around c. 3950 - 3650 BC, it might be the oldest known wheeled object in the world. It could be a ritual object or a even child’s toy.

This small Cucuteni-Trypillia culture ceramic model has a very interesting motif decoration on the side. It looks a bit like the taijitu often called the "yin yang symbol". But this symbol was made in Europe around 4,000 BC. So what's going on here?
