I don't know why you ALTA fans narrow down and do not understand basic context of TLOK world and reducing Korra to "no skills" when she is shown to have mastered multiple bending forms superior to majority of avatars. Reducing Korra to “she got beaten up a lot” while you ignore both the scale of the threats she faced and the fact that TLOK actually allows consequences to exist. Korra fought bloodbending revolutionaries, anarchist assassins, dark spirits, political extremists and continued functioning even after severe physical and psychological trauma. What’s contradictory is that people praise Aang for being wise and avoiding direct conflict while criticizing Korra for struggling in conflicts Aang himself never had to face. Aang’s era allowed him to remain a largely idealistic peacekeeper. Korra inherited a fractured modern world where diplomacy, spirituality, politics, and violence were all colliding at once.
