Korra mastered three elements as a child, invented new combinations on the fly, metalbent within weeks, and consistently chained all four elements together more fluidly than almost any Avatar we've seen 'Not proficient' is certainly... a take lol. People will legit take a joke line from toph fighting a rotting inside from poison korra but will ignore her feats of bending a nuclear bomb level spirit blast lmao. Anyone from aangs team will get vaporized from this alone.

All of them. She even mastered air bending which was the polar opposite of her persona and still adapted to it and later it became one of the most used bending of hers.

I don't know why you ALTA fans narrow down and do not understand basic context of TLOK world and reducing Korra to "no skills" when she is shown to have mastered multiple bending forms superior to majority of avatars. Reducing Korra to “she got beaten up a lot” while you ignore both the scale of the threats she faced and the fact that TLOK actually allows consequences to exist. Korra fought bloodbending revolutionaries, anarchist assassins, dark spirits, political extremists and continued functioning even after severe physical and psychological trauma. What’s contradictory is that people praise Aang for being wise and avoiding direct conflict while criticizing Korra for struggling in conflicts Aang himself never had to face. Aang’s era allowed him to remain a largely idealistic peacekeeper. Korra inherited a fractured modern world where diplomacy, spirituality, politics, and violence were all colliding at once.

Battle precision mastery vs pure traditional skills. Both of them are elites. But how korra combines other elements with water bending is just exceptional. She might honestly be one of the best Avatars at seamlessly chaining multiple elements together mid-fight.
