While at the beach this weekend celebrating Father's Day, I couldn't help but think: why are taxpayers being charged to park at public beaches and parks that our tax dollars already pay for? Chicagoans are taxed at every turn. Instead of finding ways to cut wasteful spending, City Hall keeps finding new and creative ways to take more money from working families. It's as if no amount of taxation is ever enough. This is exactly why I am running for Mayor. One of my top priorities during my first 100 days will be launching forensic audits across city government to identify waste, fraud, abuse, and unnecessary spending. We need to find where money is being wasted and reallocate those funds to provide relief to taxpayers. Chicago doesn't have a revenue problem, it has a spending and stealing problem. As Mayor, I will work to reduce the burden on homeowners, taxpayers, businesses, seniors, and working families. We should be looking for ways to lower costs, not create new fees and taxes. There is no reason Chicagoans should feel nickel-and-dimed every time they want to enjoy a public park or public beach that their tax dollars already fund. Thank you NEWSMAX .Anyone who's mad at me or saying I'm lying. Maybe you should start coming to City Hall and talking to the homeowners who have been fighting these issues for years. Go speak with the citizens who have been showing up meeting after meeting, trying to protect their homes, neighborhoods, and communities. I've been fighting on their behalf, especially as property taxes have skyrocketed and, in many cases, nearly tripled. I don't just make things up or repeat talking points. I spend time talking to the people affected, attending meetings, and listening to citizens who are living through these problems every day. I'm REALLY about the Chicago citizens. I will always stand with the people and fight for the homeowners, taxpayers, small businesses, and families who call Chicago home. As Mayor, my Chicagoans First platform will focus on, Freezing property taxes and providing relief for homeowners. Conducting forensic audits to identify waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. Cutting red tape and unnecessary fees so small businesses can grow and create jobs. Revitalizing vacant commercial corridors and blighted neighborhoods. Improving public safety so families and businesses can thrive. Supporting local hiring, apprenticeship programs, and trade education. Protecting longtime citizens from being displaced from their communities. Ensuring every neighborhood gets a seat at the table and receives the attention and investment it deserves. Please Share and Make this go viral. The Security Guard at the CBCF Inc. couldn't hold in his HATE for our President Donald J. Trump he said on camera that he wasn't welcome there. We were loading in at the Congressional Black Caucus, the Caucus didnt even start — the ONLY Republicans in the room — and we were discriminated against. Security even told us “President Trump isn’t welcome here and the staff was very rude to us Republicans.” They tried to erase us. Our name wasn’t even on the sheet. It wasn’t on the map. It took just 2 weeks for Donald J. Trump President Donald J. Trump to bring down crime in Memphis , two weeks for residents to finally feel safe again. Meanwhile, Democratic leaders like Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Governor JB Pritzker keep pretending crime is down when we all know it’s not. Let’s be real , when crime is truly down, we can feel it. We don’t need politicians or fake stats to tell us. The people living in these communities can tell the difference. In Memphis, residents are saying their kids can finally play outside again , that’s what real safety looks like. But in Illinois, these same Democrats try to sell us lies while they hide behind security details and gated mansions. Brandon Johnson has over 150 police officers protecting him, and Pritzker lives in his guarded estate , yet they expect us to believe they care about public safety? Hey guys, I was Jim Crowed, according to Chuck Schumer, discriminated against, racially targeted according to the Democrats, and I want justice. The airport made me pay $45 because I didn’t have a REAL ID. I had an ID, but they said I had to have a REAL ID, and they made me pay money. I thought I was oppressed and couldn’t afford to get an ID, so how can I afford to pay a fine because I don’t have a REAL ID? I’m just confused, can somebody help me? Could we get a protest or march going for me? Democrats argued that ID requirements to vote are racist, Jim Crow, discriminatory, or hard for people to afford, especially when it comes to voting, so I’m trying to figure out why I was discriminated against, in a Heavy Democratic city, and State . My point is this: if Americans are required to upgrade to a REAL ID to do certain things, then it makes sense that showing a valid ID should also be required to vote. That’s my point . I told y’all, I’m giving the citizens back their voice. We are no longer letting these corrupt politicians speak for us. Now, we speak for ourselves. Rise up, Chicagoans. Take back your city. Let your voice be heard. Let’s go! I went to the community at 51st & Wood, where the recent mass shooting occurred. Seven people were shot, and tragically, two lost their lives. With the blood still on the ground, I spent time talking with citizens, listening to their stories, giving hugs, and showing them that someone cares about what’s happening in their lives. Brandon Gary, who has lived in the area since he was two years old, shared. "I had to call off work. I came outside and saw my brother lying dead." This is a working-class, family-oriented community that is now grieving and searching for answers. While city leaders continue to talk about building a safer Chicago, the citizens told me they are tired of promises and want to see real results. If elected Mayor, I will always show up, support and listen to the citizens, and do my job to help ensure everyone is safe in their communities. We went to the Congressional Black Caucus setup for tomorrow and was discriminated against , by the party who claim to fight for Democracy. After that, we pulled into Target. As we were getting out of the car a traffic controller who was standing right by our car. Saw our shirts and hats and loudly said, “we don’t fuck with Trump here.” Mind you, we don’t know him , we didn’t speak to him , we were simply exiting our vehicle. Someone called the police to report him . For people to feel comfortable saying and harassing folks like that because they’re brainwashed is ridiculous. They denied us entry into the budget meeting and made us stay downstairs. When they finally let us upstairs, the meeting had already started, and they didn't allow public comments, completely violating our right to participate in a public meeting. This is exactly what they do to silence us. This is what a protest looks like. We're tired, but we’re not stopping. This will not stand. After multiple mass shootings, one of which killed the co-owner of Chemistry Restaurant, Isaac Bradley, you would think the public safety meeting chambers would be packed. Only five aldermen showed up. When ICE came to deport illegal aliens back to their countries, every elected official was here, the chambers were packed, and they held five press conferences, but nothing for the citizens of this city. I went downtown the other day. This is what a Democratic-run city looks like. This is what’s being allowed. Citizens, enough is enough. We must demand change. Public Safety meeting. Look at the chambers, EMPTY. I really want to show you all how much elections matter. Who you put in office matters. You pay their salaries. They get raises. They make six figures. But when our communities are hurting, when families are being shot, when teenagers are taking over the streets, and when citizens are begging for public safety, where are they? We had multiple mass shootings in about a week and a half. Then we had a Public Safety meeting, and the chambers should have been packed. Every elected official should have been there asking, “How do we stop the crime? How do we protect the citizens of Chicago?” But look around. Empty. Now compare that to when ICE was here. The chambers were full. Officials we never see showed up. Press conferences were held. Lawsuits were discussed. They showed up fast to protect illegal aliens. But when Chicago citizens are being killed, when our children are unsafe, when our neighborhoods are crying out for help, they are nowhere to be found. On top of that, we had white liberals coming up to the mic telling us that Black and Brown communities do not need policing in their neighborhoods, while being okay with 246 people being lost while on ankle monitors. Wake up. That tells you everything you need to know. Elections matter. Leadership matters. Priorities matter. As Mayor, public safety will be my number one priority. I will hold elected officials accountable, and I will make sure Chicago citizens safety come first. Chicago… this just happened on our North Side, at Swedish Hospital. Two police officers shot… at a hospital. A place where people go for help, turned into a crime scene. And recently, a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the neck while walking near Grant Park in downtown Chicago. This is NOT normal. This is what happens when leadership fails, but tries to gaslight you with fake crime stats. People can’t even walk safely. Hospitals aren’t even safe. Chicago, we have a serious problem. As your future mayor, I will restore order, back our police, be tough on crime, and make Chicago safe again, just as I’ve always advocated for the safety of Chicago citizens.
