Dee on her thoughts on people who say she is too cutthroat & unfeeling #bb28 “I feel like I am anything but unfeeling. But, what would I say to the critics? Listen, I am playing a game for a lot of money here, so if I gotta put my emotions aside to win 750k, I will do it & I’ll do it again & again & again. I think those that know me know that I’m a huge softie for the people that I care & love. I’m always gonna ride or die with my people & I think that’s a great thing. I think when it comes to a game that is this long, you have to set emotions aside. If you don’t, to some extent, the game will eat you alive or you’ll actually start to go batshit crazy in this house. What people don’t understand is that this is a 3 month long game, there are many times where we don’t see sunshine, we’re locked inside the house for 3-4 days at a time, every single week. There is no break, even when you’re showering, it’s constant gaming. Even when you’re going to bed, you’re still having dreams about the game. I would say it’s actually crucial to play cutthroat & put feelings aside because the moment you let your feelings overpower you, it’s the moment you probably lose the game.”

Dee on whether she’d play Big Brother again #bb28 “Yes, I will say yes, even after I spent 80 days in the house — long 80 days — I will say yes. I won’t say yes for next season, because I want to enjoy my summer next summer. But I will say yes to the following summer, any summer after that. Because it is three months, a longer commitment, I do have to think about it longer. Does my heart want to always say yes? Yes, but who knows what my life will look like next summer or the following or whenever Big Brother asks? I would have to rearrange a lot more, so that would be the only bad thing. Now, as a player, I do want to always say yes, but who knows? Like, I actually want to focus on, you know, family, friends, building a family. Obviously, I need to find somebody first, but I’m turning 30 soon. I want to shift my life a little bit, so I think Big Brother is always going to be something where you have to just take a whole summer off. But I will say yes, depending on where my life is at. As a player, I always want to say yes.”

Dee on why she fell in love with Big Brother & what she loves about the show #bb28 “First of all, I never really thought that I would love Big Brother the way that I do. I like that Big Brother, contrary to popular belief, I enjoyed the length. I know it sounds a little crazy to say, but the length allows you to kind of embody everything of who you are. All my frustrations, laughter, when I was a bitch, you know, everything. Everything about it, I loved. I loved living with people, getting to know people. I love the game. I dove right into the game & it is your house. It really did feel like it was our house and our rules, that we could do whatever we want with the game. I feel like I went straight to it and I fell in love with it immediately. Honestly, I have never laughed and had so much fun in another game before like I did on Big Brother, so I think that was a major reason why I fell in love with Big Brother. It was the people also & not just the players themselves, but also the people behind the camera. Even though I don’t see anyone, when you go into DR sessions, you feel like aww nice. I get to be myself. I’m gonna cry & like, thank you guys. You are awesome, you know? I think it was a mixture of those things. The game itself, but also the behind the scenes that people don’t normally see is also what made me fall in love with Big Brother.”
