Ahead of filing our nomination this afternoon, we called on our dear former President, the venerable Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to formally seek his blessings. It is always, always an honour to be in his presence. When I was detained, I heard that young men and women from the streets and the ghettos, people with no money, no cars, no titles, walked to EOCO to stand for me. Yesterday, I went to them, to say THANK YOU. Politics has taught me many things, but nothing has humbled me like this. Loyalty is not found in high places. It lives in the hearts of ordinary people. They say you know your true friends in your darkest hour. Mine came from the streets and the ghettos. While I sat in detention, they marched to EOCO, with nothing but their voices and their conviction, to demand my freedom. I will never forget. There are very serious issues to analyze in terms of the value this country is getting from the two political parties. These things cannot be confused and covered with rhetorics by the NDC government. It’s been 18months since they took office. Not a single, life changing policy has been introduced. You promised the students free access to tertiary without paying a dime. A policy meant to remove financial barrier and stress on parents and students. For two academic years, not a single Ghanaian student has been able to access tertiary education free of charge. Each of the two years after coming to office, it’s been the same struggle and stress with 1000s dropping out due to financial constraint. Now they complain, and your retort is that, you refunded to those who managed to get in. Your promise was emphatic, unambiguous and without condition. For those who go through the stress as they have always done and manages to go, they get their refund. They were not the target for your policy. The No Stress fee for Level 100 was for those who would not be able to get in due to financial constraint. These student remain home and you continue to gloat in a certain refund for the privileged. You have two more academic years, fulfil the promise. It was a one line promise, ACCESS LEVEL 100 without paying anything. Government will pay your fees to the universities as grant. This is what they heard, believed and queued to vote for. JUST DO IT!!!

“Onable” too say we are all delulu. Onable says we are bad paaaa and that 9th January morning, we all decided to change our phone settings and put it on fast data charge becos we don’t like him and wanted to blame him. Dear Ghana Pipos, Please go to your phone settings, look for data speed and change it to slow so your data will not finish fast fast . Happy reset week !

Together with the Media, we visited Agona Kwanyako in the Agona East District this afternoon to provide the evidence as requested by Government. Agona East in the central region has no mining and have never seen gold before. But here they are suffering from effects of Galamsey from far away eastern region. Innocent citizens of Agona East are suffering for something they know nothing about. It’s time for the NDC Government to act and simply implement what they promised. The evidence is here and it’s right in the home of the Minister for Government communications. #GalamseyEnablers

SO WE CAME ALL THIS WAY FOR NOTHING? Petrol back to GHS 14.60. Jusssst where they picked it from Diesel even higher than it was in January 2025 Cocoa farmers unpaid since October 2025. Then giving a wicked haircut. Teachers sitting at home. Promised automatic postings. Got nothing. Thousands of Nurses and teachers unpaid for 16 months. 24-Hour Economy? Still on paper. All that suffering. All that sacrifice. All that waiting. And they brought us right back to square one. #SoWeCameAllThisWayForNothing

The Youth wing of the New Patriotic Party has been consistent. They have been on the side of consistentency and for them to show up in this manner in solidarity of Shatta wale(shatta movement) is to reinforce the fact about protecting our democracy from abuse of discretion. I agree with our youth leader Salam Mustapha, you don’t treat one of the biggest exports of this country in this manner. You are investigating, he’s not yet charged nor sentenced and so if you set such unrealistic bail conditions as a way of punishing him then you are only Seeking to destroy his career and nothing else. First they came for their opponents in politics, whiles the bat up journalists and now they have moved towards our creative arts. Let’s speak up and stop this arbitrariness before it swallows us all. Prosecute the person all you want, investigate the person all you want but do not weaponise bail conditions as a way of keeping citizens in custody. That’s not rule of law, that’s abuse of law. Good Job Salam and the NPP Youth wing for standing by what is right and for your consistency.

The NDC sneaked into power on the back of lies and lofty promises without any plan. Our current reality is that, they are clueless and are at a complete loss as to how to deal with the serious issues confronting our nation and that explains why they are simply majoring in the minors to buy time. We are in a truly difficult situation as a country.
