A man in a prayer cap climbing the stairs of the Hanuman temple on his knees, burning diya in his hands. People holding him up. He went in and bowed before the idol. The first question is always the same — why would a Muslim come to a Hindu temple? Maybe he had a wish. Maybe faith doesn’t ask at the gate. Or maybe some people still come to bow, not to argue. The crowd helped him up. Then half of them pulled out their phones. The devotion looked real. The rest of it just became content.
