I do everything regarding my podcast, from sourcing guests, scheduling, researching material, recording, editing, audio, visual, artwork, write ups, publishing, website, substack, and social media. But I've always been like that. As a surgeon, I used to never sit in the coffee room between cases. I would clean up and mop the floor (blood and bits of bone), lay out the instruments, collect the patient, write up the op notes, see the post op, position the x-ray machine, the lights and position the patient correctly on the table. This way, I would operate on 8 patients in a day, unlike my colleagues who managed 5 at best. This is the same efficiency and productivity I've brought to my podcasting. After 18 months, I've published 286 episodes, 160 in the last year alone. On the 21st of June 2022, 4 years ago, when I was still a surgeon, I had no social media presence of significance, and a year before I started my podcast, I attended this meeting. I listened to Aseem Malhotra and Jay Battachyria essentially say that mistakes were made, and it was simply well-intentioned people who made mistakes during covid. To say I was disappointed was a huge understatement. When the mic was given over to the floor, I was the first to speak. And what was their response? They didn't have any.
