Carney is the first PM to ever cobble together a majority through floor crossing. Power was gained with backroom deals, not the ballot box. Today I introduced Bill C-278 to require MPs earn voter consent before switching parties. If your reasons are valid, defend them to voters.

Canada says it stands against superpower intimidation. The U.S. blockade on Cuba has caused decades of hardship and cutting off fuel risks a dire humanitarian crisis. Will the Prime Minister keep his word and support an independent, humane foreign policy?

Today I introduced legislation to ban floor crossing without voter consent. When MPs switch parties after an election, they override the will of the people and erode trust. My bill restores accountability: if you want to change parties, face your constituents and let them decide.

Today I proposed banning "surveillance pricing" — a creepy practice where corporations weaponize your personal data to rip you off. Deeply disappointed the motion was rejected. Canadians are already being crushed by sky-high costs. They deserve relief, not corporate exploitation.

Legal experts just confirmed Danielle Smith's private healthcare law breaks the Canada Health Act. Wealthy patients pay to skip the line. Everyone else waits longer. Protecting public healthcare is the federal govt's job. So why is PM Carney letting Conservatives dismantle it?

Liberals are selling off Canada’s ports and airports. After Heathrow was privatized, Saudi Arabia, Qatar &amp; China gained major stakes in the airport. Canadians deserve a full national security review before foreign state-owned entities gain control of our strategic infrastructure.

In Davos, the PM pledged to apply the same standards to allies and rivals. Canada rightly condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine as illegal. But Carney is backing the equally illegal US-Israeli war on Iran. I pressed the Liberals on this reversal, note their muddled response:

Yesterday in QP I raised a troubling incident: Flight attendants were kicked out of the gallery for wearing pre-approved shirts saying “Unpaid Work Won’t Fly" because a Liberal MP was uncomfortable. Since when do government MPs get to decide who can watch our democracy in action?
