What if alien probes were orbiting Earth before humans ever launched one? 🛰️ Fascinating new paper by Beatriz Villarroel et al. analyzing 1950s Palomar plates finds aligned transient flashes — possibly reflections, or something stranger. Here’s my quick reaction to this bold piece of astronomical archaeology.

The Quantum Theory No One Dares Explain! David Deutsch Timestamp: 02:15 – David Deutsch introduces the idea that infinity is not just a mathematical abstraction but a physical reality. 06:42 – He emphasizes that understanding infinity is central to progress in both science and philosophy. 11:03 – Discussion on how infinity challenges human intuition and traditional explanations. 18:29 – Deutsch argues that good explanations must account for infinity, not avoid it. 23:51 – He contrasts finite vs. infinite models of the universe. 30:14 – Infinity as an unavoidable aspect of quantum mechanics and the multiverse. 37:40 – Practical implications: infinity changes how we view knowledge, discovery, and human progress. 45:22 – He warns against simplistic or “bad” explanations that ignore infinite possibilities. 53:09 – Closing: infinity should be embraced as part of reality, not feared or reduced.

My response to Kim Kardashian's Moon landing denial claims. In 2 minutes, I answer all her questions: ⇨ Why did the flag move with no wind? ⇨ Is there really no gravity on the moon? ⇨ How did the astronauts survive the radiation? ⇨ Why the boot prints dont match & more!

Terry Tao’s Warning About AI Terence Tao says humans will continue pushing the mathematical frontier, while AI tackles millions of medium-difficulty problems that no one has time to solve. That’s invaluable. This kind of assistance will undoubtedly accelerate progress. But is it the same as AGI? I don’t think so. “As long as you only use AIs to the extent that you can verify their outputs, and no further, then they can be a great tool.”
