Literally everyone complaining about The Odyssey should relax. Yes, Elliott Page was an astroishly bad casting choice, not just because they are trans but because they/them’s acting was horrendous. But they also got shot with arrows and died in the first 5 minutes. 85% of the movie was objectively awesome. Matt Damon was awesome. The battle scenes were awesome. It was visually stunning. Most of the acting was good. There’s no such thing as a perfect movie. But sometimes you can just enjoy the good parts and ignore the things you don’t like.
