At St Joseph hospital Kitgum where i did my Surgery and OBGYN internship, all of us lived within one minute walking distance (self contained rooms) from the ward, opetating room & OB ward. There was a designated chef who cooked for us . All these were paid for by the hospital and all we needed to do was attend to emergencies promptly. Now imagine those who wont be paid.
