Yesterday's Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanishyna - the same person who has now been served with a notice of suspicion for illigal enrichment - crying its the court she cannot afford bail. Military service is conditionally voluntary and well-paid. Zelensky initially violated his social contract, which he proposed before the elections in 2019 and on which he became president - to end the war. He imposed additional costs, promising no forced mobilization or theft. But he stole, and eventually began catching people for the war like street dogs.
