Mr. President, Donald J. Trump, in Luke 18:13-14, Jesus spoke of a man who knew he was unworthy to enter heaven, the tax collector who cried, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.” That man, Jesus said, went home justified before God to enter heaven. Heaven is not for the righteous in their own eyes, but for those who know they need mercy. None of us can stand before God on our record. But if you come to Him humbly—confessing and repenting of your sin and trusting in Christ alone—you will find grace greater than all your sin. Jesus promises, “Whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.” (John 6:37) Please, Mr. President, come to Him as that tax collector did, and you will find mercy, forgiveness, and eternal life. Pray for our President, saints!

Today, the Senate voted to legalize human composting. This bill, which has already been passed in numerous far-left states, treats the human body as mere material to be utilized and repurposed, rather than something uniquely created in the image of God. Western civilization is built upon the assumption that human life is sacred. I pray that the Senate will rediscover a profound reverence for the dignity of the human person, even in death.

After listening to Senate floor debate this morning, my hope for each of us is that we will find someone who loves us as much as Oklahoma Democrats love ensuring 1st graders have access to hardcore pornography. One of my Democrat colleagues even said that he rarely rises in debate, but felt particularly compelled to debate against this bill. He then proceeded to compare those of us who do NOT want pornography in school libraries to Nazis. Senate rules prohibit the reading of the explicit content in many of these books on the Senate floor. Yet Democrats are obsessed with ensuring school children have access to them. Is there anyone who can tell me why Democrat politicians are like this?

And for the men in the arena, we see you, we need you, we appreciate you. “I can’t help but note a certain strain of Christianity . . . that is always standing by ready to nitpic and find a reason to be spiritually troubled by any Christian who leaves the realm of theory and argument and discussion and actually tries to go out and do something. . . . I want to make a difference and there’s no way to do that without opening yourself to criticism from your own side. Anyone on our side who tries to do anything aside from just stalking about this stuff will get picked apart by their own side. . . . It seems sometimes that there are people on our side who really don’t want you to do anything. They just want you to talk . . . There is man and there is woman. And thankfully, there has been a vibe shift such that even Gavin Newsom now recognizes this fact. I encourage my Democrat colleagues to follow Newsom's lead. Gender ideology is on the ropes. Now is the time to pass bills like SB418 to bury this ideology forever. I am happy to report that it passed the Senate today 39-8.
