This is the ANC Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula, who recently urged members to support Cyril Ramaphosa while admitting that the party's leadership collectively created and promoted the “fire pool” narrative, stating; "We went to Parliament and opened an ad hoc committee and said a swimming pool is a fire pool. It was a lie!" We are not surprised that the Speaker is delaying opposition to Ramaphosa’s review application of the Section 89 Independent Panel Report. She is toeing the party line. After all, she is an ANC deployee.
