🚨NEW: In our Monday interview, Patrick Witt said a compromise had been reached on the stablecoin yield issue. It’s now past the 5pm ET deadline for senators’ amendments to the text released last night by U.S. Senate Banking Committee GOP. Reports today suggest some Democratic offices were still unsatisfied with the compromise, including a ban on yield on account balances. It’s unclear as of now whether the text has changed.
